Junior Varsity Opens With a 6-0 Win at BG

The Marauder Junior Varsity opened the season with a dominant 6-0 win at Bishop Guertin, giving rookie Coach Yosef Osheyack his first career victory.  Hanover took a 4-0 lead at halftime, and cruised to the victory with every player getting ample playing time.  Sander Macaulay continued his torrid scoring, netting three goals for the Marauders.  David Seigne added two, along with an assist.  Brook Leigh tallied his first career goal in the second half.  Lincoln Adam had a pair of assists, with an especially nice cross on one of Seigne's goals.  Ben Sobel, Benny Gantrish and Harry Olszewski also had helpers.  Owen Brooks and Harris LaRock shared the rocking chair shutout in the Hanover goal.  The Marauders will have a tougher test on Tuesday when they head to Concord to play the Crimson Tide.
